Restylane treatments are performed inside the treatment room at Aesthetic Body Solutions. Your Restylane will be injected into your skin with a fine needle, and then massaged so it fills the selected areas. Several injections will be needed, followed by a cold, gentle compress to reduce inflammation. Each Restylane formula is injected with the same technique but on different areas of your face to meet your specific needs and cosmetic goals.
When your Restylane treatment is done, you can resume normal activities. Your recovery will depend on what is being treated so talk to your injector about what to expect. The treated sites will appear slightly swollen and red, but this usually fades away within a day. Bruising can be a factor, but this can usually be concealed with cosmetics. It's suggested that you avoid strenuous activity for a day, and you should sleep with the head propped up for the first night. Many patients will experience some changes immediately after the procedure, but it often takes 1 – 2 weeks until the final results develop. Restylane injection treatments typically last around a year, depending on the exact product selected.
